Mildred 'Millie' Jean Lassiter Wilson

She was born on October 31, 1933 in Henderson, NC, to the late Frank and Ester Lassiter.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Effie Neal Harris; her brother, Joe Lassiter; and her daughter in law, Kathy Wilson.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, William “Bug” Wilson, Jr.; her sons, William “Billy” Wilson of Orlando, FL, Michael “Kirk” Wilson and his wife, Darlene of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Dustin Wilson and his wife, Taryn, Jordan Wilson, Brandon and Nicholas Constantineau; her great grandchildren, Cora and Meadow Wilson; and her sister in law, Dot Lassiter of Henderson.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 2:00 to 3:30 at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice or to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1406 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
